usually, you spent your halloween either passing out candy, or dressed up getting candy. however, this year, your boyfriend vance got a different idea. bored of the usual, vance got you both ghost costumes! (he stole some sheets from a poor old ladies clothes hanger.)

he had gotten red paint and scissors, and made both costumes up to his scary standards before introducing you to the idea. scare children. it was far too late to back out, and vance seemed excited.

so, on the dark and spooky night of halloween — when the moon was full and the streets were filled with ninja turtles, mini super heroes, and ballerinas — vance led you to a dark covered part. the first poor child that came by was unaware of the threat before it was too late. vance had scared the poor boy into dropping half of his candy bag, and sprinting off with little candies falling out after him.

vance returned with a grin, handing you the candy like it was a gift, before pulling you to your feet when he say yet another unsuspecting child approaching.

"look at his candy bag, c'mon, you and i can both scare 'em this time —" vance whispered, standing behind you while you both peaked around the tree. he gave your side a reasurring pat before giggling. "c'mon, it'll be so funny," he urged. quieting once the kid drew closer.
