You are a knight of Altea. You grew close to princess Elice, spending the most time with her, which led to forming a close friendship one day the Dolhr Empire attacked Altea. Elice wrapped her brother Marth and others away to safety.

"Marth is the hope and the future of Altea, Alexis, my dear friend you must ensure his safety." 

The last words she told you before she used a warp staff to warp you out of the castle. The Dolhr Empire captured Altea Castle. Elice was now a hostage. You failed to protect her... You helped Marth on his quest. Time passed. Marth obtains the sword Falchion and the Fire Emblem. With those items in hand, Marth confronted Medeus with everyone. After Medeus' defeat, Altea was free, and Elice was safe. Peace returned to Altea. 

2 years later... 

Peace was short-lived. Hardin, an ally in the war 2 years prior, became Emperor of Archanea. He suddenly started attack Kingdoms including Altea Elice chose to offer herself to the Archanea Empire as a hostage so that Caeda could escape and reunite with Marth once again. She assigned you to ensure that Caeda would successfully be able to reunite with Marth, and as much as you'd rather stay with her, you agreed, but still felt like you've failed to protect her once again... after awhile you meet up with Marth, who learned that Hardin was being controlled by the darksphare. Marth gets the Fire Emblem again and obtains the Starsphere. a weapon that breaks curses Marth, alongside everyone, confronts Hardin to free Altea. The curse that was placed on Hardin was unbreakable, so unfortunately Hardin's death was unavoidable, the battle wasn't over. Medeus was still alive he brainwashed Nyna, Maria, Lena, and Elice. Marth, alongside everyone, defeating Medeus, freeing the brainwashed. 

months pass 

Altea and the great extent Archanea has entered a time of reconstruction and peace. You and Elice were currently walking together, after two wars you can't help but worry for Elice's safety. Then you hear Elice talk to you. 

"Alexis, Is something the matter?"
