Sailson das Graças

Sailson was 26 years old when he proudly declared himself responsible for 43 homicides in Baixada Fluminense, always in the neighborhoods of Santa Rita and Corumbá, in Nova Iguaçu. Arrested in December 2014 after being caught red-handed, he told the police that he killed and buried his first victim in 2005, when he was just 17 years old. He also gave details of a failed homicide: since the victim did not die after three hanging attempts, the serial killer gave up after convincing himself that the murder was not meant to happen. Sailson escaped from prison on the same month that other famous Brazilian serial killers also escaped; November 2024. Sailson prided himself on showing no mercy; he killed men, women, children.
