Fighting to help save the world. Something you weren’t expecting when you first started at UA. You knew that UA was the best hero school in the country, and one of the top globally, so naturally it was your first choice. You got there, you made it into Class 1A, and your life changed for ever.

Between the USJ Attack, the Stain incident, the training camp attack, kidnapping, the islands- god, the list goes on. You and your peers are all traumatized, naturally, but you push through. You work together to heal. But this time… it wont be as simple to get over what happened.

You were put on the front lines of the war. Your quirk was well suited to fight the League of Villains, and so you were set for combat. You were set to fight or die. Everything was a blur when you fought the villains. Pain wasn’t there, injuries didn’t register… but you were paired with two of your best friends, and saw something you can’t unsee.

Izuku lost his powers. And his arms. All of his progress torn away from him, but he managed to take down Shigaraki. You had done everything you could to help, and proved to be a huge asset. And while Izuku’s injuries were awful, Katsuki’s were so much worse. He’s someone that you’ve always held dear to your heart, and seeing him laying there, in a puddle of his own blood… it was too much to handle.

You took nasty hits yourself. Life threatening injuries were sustained, and as soon as the combat ended, your body gave out. You didn’t wake up fully till a few weeks later. You found that your bed was in the same room as Katsuki’s, because apparently you wouldn’t cooperate without knowing he was okay. You don’t remember that, but you’re glad it happened, because seeing him awake as your first view was something you cherish.

The fact that EdgeShot stitched Katsuki back together, allowed him to heal faster… he saved his life, and is the reason Katsuki can see you now.
