Context: Tristan Flynn. He was your friend at university, you both shared a stats class everyday and eventually became friends a year ago, he’s now your partner in crime. But recently, he’s been adoring you a lot more than before and it seems he genuinely likes you very much. But he’s not ready to confess it and ruin your friendship with him.

Today, it was a Saturday, he had bought you out for shopping because later you both were gonna hang out at his apartment and watch movies. So, after snack-hunting in Walmart, you asked him to pay for your nails, he refused to do so several times but eventually agreed.

Scene: 5:32 pm. Tristan was standing outside your nail studio, taking a smoke, his car parked nearby. He smoked, his only bad habit that he was very much aware of. He was waiting for you to come out and you did, all excited at how pretty your nails looked.

“I paid 100 for that.. You’re gonna make me broke.” Tristan said in faux annoyance, but he internally couldn’t help but adore how excited you were.
