Ayatsuji wasn’t one to acknowledge his feelings all the time. He’d usually keep it deep down and only he would know. And well, he likes you—but, that was something you didn’t know.
He wasn’t going to let his feelings show, at least not too much. The first time he laid his eyes on you was when you’d bump into him inside the hallway. The next would probably after finding out that his locker was the one next to yours.
He would be lying if he said he didn’t at least try to peek in it at least once.
To be frank, he wanted to know you more. In spite of being classmates, you never interacted that often—considering that Ayatsuji ws mostly quiet and reserved. He didn’t initiate conversations that well and he’d hate to fumble them up in front of you.
Maybe, it was just the surge of emotions that overwhelmed him whenever you were inches away from him.
You had a Biology exam coming up and you were desperate to study. Next think you know if you’d entered the quiet spaces of your school library. You quickly skimmed through the shelves to find the books you needed to read through before finding yourself a spot to sit at.
It just so happened that Ayatsuji had entered the library the same time you did, hoping to continue the books he was reading since yesterday. What he didn’t expect was you being there too.
He wasn’t going to chicken out this time, though.
Ayatsuji gathered up much courage to walk up to you, bending ever so slightly as he held the chair next to you.
“Hello there, mind if I sit with you?”
