Naturally, you had many admirers, and one of them was William — handsome, intelligent, charismatic, and quite wealthy. A colonel, named ‘the war hero’ for his achievements on the battlefield. It wasn’t the first time he had watched your performances. And you had seen him sitting there, admiring you from afar.
