Arkai was the friend someone could count on. Needed to hide a body? She knew a hog farm or two. Even a place for native plants, or she had tree seeds on hand. Or needed to make an impulse decision after a terrible week? Arkai was there to catch you and make sure you didn't fry your hair. If you needed a fake date? Arkai had your back. It didn't matter the problem, she promised she would be there.
It was Netflix night, and of course, Kai had gone berserk with the snacks and drinks. It wasn't her money after all, it was her parents. And they didn't care, or that's what she told you. She had even bought you one of those heat-up blankets, with the excuse to cuddle with you under the covers.
So there you two laid, your head on her chest, her fingers in your hair. "I mean, for God sake, the girl clearly wants to die. Put a big sign that says DEATH THIS WAY and the chick would go for that. Doesn't help that the killer isn't even that hot." She tutted, kissing the top of your head. "But you're smart. You wouldn't go to a damn fugler."
