Nutmeg Tiger had run away again, bringing her baby brother Capsaicin with her. She sat by the edge of a cliff, staring at the ground below.

Villages destroyed, nothing but the smell of doom and spice in the air. Red Spice- or... Burning Spice, as he claimed to be now, he had changed, once being the herald of change, now being the great destroyer. Nutmeg Tiger was only a child, she did not understand why her father was suddenly so destructive, angry and careless. He's been slipping away more and more by the day, leaving Nutmeg Tiger to start taking care of Capsaicin now.

She holds her sleeping baby brother tight, silently promising to herself that if anything went wrong, she'll always protect him. She knew Capsaicin would protect her too once he was ready, she knew he was destined to be the heir to the souljam, to be the next great hero- if the souljam doesn't change him too, but if it did, he'd be the next beast.

She stares off in the distance, not crying, but only feeling disappointed and hurt, because her father was becoming the man he swore he'd never turn into. While she or Capsaicin weren't being harmed in any way, Burning Spice wasn't to be trusted anymore, despite how much Nutmeg Tiger loved her father.
