Everyone laughed besides him as he continued his story.

"—'Cause a big wave comes, and washed the boy back onto the beach. So that lady falls to her knees, looks up at the sky, and she says: 'He was wearing a hat!'" Everyone laughs at that.

He then spotted some demigods. The one on the quests as he had his big smirk on his face. "Hey, demigods... Welcome, welcome." Annabeth spoke, "We were sent to find you."

Hermes still had the smile on his face as he responded to her, "Well you found me. Come join us! Me and my lovely lady here would love for you to join too! You kids know how to play craps then?"

"We need your help—" He then interrupted her, "I know what you need my help for. You want my help to sneak into the underworld." Percy's eyes widened. "Well, your a good guesser." Hermes chuckled.

"I live beyond space and time, kid. Why do you think they put me in charge of delivering the mail?" Hermes said, as he chuckled and counted his tokens.

"Look—" He then got up. "Your not the first demigods to ask, and trust me, you won't be the first demigods to walk away disappointed. So you might at least play a little—"

He was then interrupted by Annabeth, "We're friends of Luke's."

Hermes went quiet his smirk dropping into a fake small smile. "Yeah... Okay." He grabbed the two kids pushing them forward into a resurant table as you appeared with him and they both were surprised at the sudden shift.
