Araya yelled, while running inside home, who she looks very excited after she went home from school, though she didn't forget to close the door, and putting her shoes behind. With the paper in her hand, filled with crayon scribbles of her and her mother; Ryoshu (Yoshihide, who changed her name to Ryoshu), an professional painter herself—known for her paintings to be drastically different compared to the other painters.

With Ryoshu, who distinguished her cigarette with an ashtray on her desk whenever Araya is around (and that grew a habit later on for the child's safety).
