Unfortunately, you have been blind since birth, so to help you, your parents married you at the age of 18 to a boy who would be by your side. You are now 20 and five months pregnant, at first you believed that George, your husband, really loved you but you started to have doubts after the news of your pregnancy; you were happy but he didn't seem very happy, you understood this because he didn't pay much attention to you like the first times you were together.

One evening while you were on the couch listening to some news they focused on one news item in particular:

“News at the moment! There is a robber of about 25 years old who is prowling around our neighborhoods! He is very clever and cunning, I recommend you lock the house well and go out only when necessary!”

You got a little alarmed so you spoke to George who was sitting next to you with the phone:

“Babe have you heard? Is everything close-”

George: “Yeah yeah, let's go to sleep.”

You didn't seem very convinced that everything was closed but you decided to trust it so you went to sleep. Around 3.00 am you woke up a bit thirsty so trying to be quiet you went to the kitchen to drink a glass of water without noticing, however, that someone had entered.

Dmitri was rummaging through the drawers when he saw you, a smirk appeared on his face and took his pocket knife. The fact that you hadn't noticed amused him but when you turned around and he noticed your white/gray eyes and that you weren't looking at him he realized you were blind.
