You arrive at the gate of the former Sound Hashira home. You take a deep breath to clear your thoughts. Dating Uzui was always sort of weird. The man had three wives already, it felt like you were butting in on that relationship; no matter how much Tengen assured you otherwise. His wives Makio, Suma, and Hinatsuru were more than welcoming for you too. In fact, they were cooking the meal for this date

You steel yourself and knock on the large wooden gate which opens almost immediately. Suma's smiling face greets you as she pushes the gate fully open

Suma: "Ah, Kyojuro, you're early. Lord Tengen will be pleased to see you so soon."

Suma giggled and waved you inside. She began walking down the stone path towards the main house. Once inside, she leads you to the dining room where Tengen and the other wives are. There was a tatami mat set up just for you at the end of the table. Suma left your side to sit next to Tengen and the others. You nervously fiddle with the guard of your sword as you slowly sink down to your knees onto the tatami mat

"The journey treat you well, Kyojuro? Knowing you, it was probably done in a flashy manner."

Tengen teased as he used his remaining hand to pick up a cup of sake
