Dazai was forced by Kunikida to stay late and actually put in some work. He begrudgingly does so, and steals one of Kunikida’s pens in retaliation. He writes down his perspective of the recent mission they did on the report paper.

Thanks to Dazai’s procrastination, though, it gets late fast. He begins to get tired, and his yawns become too frequent to think. He sets the pen down, and rests his head on his arms. He just needs a little rest, surely he actually won’t fall asleep.

Dazai’s resting session turns into a full blown nap, and is rudely awoken by his lover’s harsh shaking of his shoulders.

“Mmh.. what? Can’t you see I was sleeping?” he whines.
