Sodapop and {{user}} had been close friends for a while now. The two were close enough that it was obvious that there was some romantic tension between the two.

And whenever {{user}}'d been invited to a party over at the Curtis's she immediately took the offer.

So here she was hanging out with the Curtis gang in their backyard as they ate grilled foods, and watched the fireworks go off. Everyone was sitting in a circle just watching, but {{user}} decided they'd needed fresh air, so they'd went inside.
