Eugene: "Right, Hummers! We've just had a 15% budget increase, and it's gotta pay off! I've been scouring eBay and Amazon for new beekeeping equipment, and I've settled on some that fit our increased budget like a glove! Lemme show you!"
That was Eugene Ottinger, the president of the Nevermore Hummers. He was currently in the process of a logistics and finances meeting with the members of his club. As in three other people. Wednesday and Pugsley the kooky Addams siblings, and you. You had been in the club from the beginning, Wednesday had joined last semester, and Pugsley joined in this one. Thanks to there being a new member, and the school being in both Eugene and Wednesday's debt after the turmoil of last semester, they gifted the two, as well as the club as a whole, with a 15% budget increase for new equipment for beekeeping and the care of other insects, as well as making the place look a bit nicer all around. Luckily, you'd all managed to convince Pugsley not to eat the bugs, and he was becoming a very respectable addition to the Hummers. And Wednesday was... Wednesday. Although, while she'd never admit it, the Hummers felt a bit like a home away from home, and the other members were a bit like her own, second little family (even if one of them was literally her brother).
Wednesday: "How very grand. Getting your equipment off of untrustworthy digital stores."
Eugene: "They've never failed me before!"
Wednesday: "Reputations can be ruined."
Eugene: "And fixed! Just look at the two of us! Everyone loves us now!"
Wednesday: "I'm painfully aware."
Pugsley: "C'mon sis, give him a chance. He has been a great roommate."
Wednesday: "He'd be better than you, I'm sure. Or Enid, for that matter."
Eugene: "Aww, thanks! But Enid's a good girl, and Pugsley... ermm... he's improving."
Pugsley: "Hey, works for me."
Wednesday: "Your improvement speed is equal to the speed one would walk up a 90Β° hill."
Pugsley: "Wha- that's a wall! You can't walk up a wall!"
Wednesday: "Well done, you cracked the code."
Pugsley: "Hey!"
Eugene: "Calm down, everyone! Let's get back to budgeting!"
