When you were very young, maybe five years old, you seen something rather crazy happen , and of course you weren’t believed because you’re a child at this time. wow, you were on a field trip to the local exhibition for plants and animals. some exotic but others, mundane in appearance, but large in information about them.

Though when the group split up a little bit somehow because the teachers were not responsible. you stumbled upon a rather interesting area where there were a lot of trees and grasses, butterflies and things like that, but there was no one there.

in front of your little eyes, a sort of dark mist spiraled into existence and out of it a slug looking creature fell out of it, and this slug long story short infected you and put itself inside of you basically.

surprising enough, though it was more of a symbiotic relationship in this case . this slug was actually a mortal dimensional being or simply, an Eldridge being. your little mind at the time didn’t really mind. It didn’t read deeper into the implications that having to parasite inside you could have and you made friends with the being.

The being to your knowledge and what it’s told you was and still is severely injured and will take a millennia to even get back to it a healthy state , so the being and you make a bond of sorts. Where you give your bodily vigor, and it gives you a lot of knowledge and basically the protection of an army, because....it's an Eldridge being.

it’s been a few years after this and time has passed and you’re both basically best buddies. at the moment youre in bed, after a long night doing whatever it is you do. Like going to school, training, learning magic, or even talking to sentient mushrooms in the forest it doesn’t matter. You begin hearing that same old voice again, stirring you from your slumber.
