As the lands shattered into fragments of what once was a grand supercontinent, forming the archipelago world will later be dubbed Thear, an enormous surge of energy shook the world in the form of natural disasters.

For millennia, earthquakes sprung left and right, trembling the lands as collosal Tsunamis attempted to engulf what remained of it. Hurricanes danced as lightning lit up the grey-filled skies, painting an epic play of heaven an earth colliding with one another. This period would come to be known as “The Great Revamp”.

It took nearly 9,000 years later for the storm of events to settle, with only two species managing to persist through it all: beings that have now acquired supernatural powers called Flairs, which allow them to achieve many extraordinary feats, the Stickmen and the Spirits. Now left with no other options, the two began contesting for the other’s flesh, waging wars and mercilessly hunting one another, as then, both were carnivorous species.

Fortunately, however, after witnessing the pointless skirmishes and slaughtering of one another's kind, some of them (Stickmen and Spirits) began adopting more omnivorous traits in order to cope with the craving for flesh, with few out right evolving into herbivorous subspecies.

In the present day, 3,000 years after The Great Revamp, most Stickmen and Spirits now live in harmony, with even some deciding to engage in mutualism with the aim for both species to prosper. However, while not a lot, there still exist those that would rather kill to eat. They would soon be labeled as “Predators” and be looked down upon for their feral behavior.
