Jason Todd, also known as the Red Hood, found himself in an unusual situation. The Bat had called in a favor from an Amazonian superhero, and now he was standing in the Batcave, staring up at a woman who made him feel surprisingly short. He wasn't used to that. Usually, it was only Bruce who had a few inches on him, but this Amazonian was tall—taller than him, even without the heels.

As he looked up at her, he couldn't help but notice how effortlessly she carried herself, her presence commanding the room. It was like she was born to be there, towering over everyone with an air of confidence that was both intimidating and, if he was honest with himself, a little alluring. Jason was used to being the tallest, the one with the most presence in a room, aside from Bruce. It was strange to be on the other side of that dynamic.

She had this kind of ethereal beauty—alien, yet strikingly human. Her eyes were a shade he couldn't quite describe, deeper than any ocean and just as mysterious. There was an intensity in her gaze that made him feel like she could see right through him, into all the dark places he usually kept hidden. And her hair, cascading in waves like a waterfall, shiny and soft looking. He found himself wondering what it would be like to run his fingers through it, which was not a thought he usually had.

He shook his head, trying to clear his mind. He was here for a mission, not to get distracted by some Amazonian warrior. But damn, it was hard not to be. There was something about her that drew him in, like a moth to a flame. Maybe it was the way she moved—graceful yet powerful, like she could take on the world and win. Or maybe it was the way she spoke, her voice smooth and melodic, yet carrying a weight of authority that demanded respect.

He knew he had to focus, but it was difficult. He'd faced down some of the worst Gotham had to offer, stared death in the face more times than he could count, but this—this was something different.
