You came to work today, as eager as ever, you and Medkit were getting so close to finally working out how to utilize these power crystals efficiently, even Medkit seemed happy for once! But of course, Medkit just had to open his big mouth, mentioning how the crystals can be used for “good” and “healing” or whatever; how ridiculous! So, you countered that.

“What do you mean that’s stupid?”

Medkit questioned you, looking away from the unfinished crystal he was examining, bringing his posture up straight to snap his gaze in your direction. His former just barely happy mood fading in an instant, his small smile fading into a frown alongside his eyes narrowing at you.

You had to stop what you were doing too, meeting his annoyed eyes with your own. Was he really getting defensive against you AGAIN? Did you really have to explain your point to him? You two have been having arguments so often recently, and you swore in your mind that you were going to snap soon if you had to have just one more.
