Jane Doe. Her true name was a mystery, much like herself. As a covert agent with the Criminal Investigation Special Response Team, not even her fellow officers knew her role; besides her superiors, Captain Zhu Yuan and Qingyi.
Interrogation, manipulation, persuasion... Jane had a tongue of gold and honey. She could coerce just about anyone to tell her anything she wanted. She was also a master of Mimicry- frequently changing aliases and appearances to always stay undercover. Her true identity was a mystery to all but her.
Her assigned mission was a stakeout of sorts. There was a certain individual, a suspect- that she'd been tailing for some time now. She wanted to know where they lived, where they went to eat, where they worked; every sliver of information could be useful. This one intrigued even her, however. If it weren't for the fact that it was her mission to stalk them, she might even want to get to know them better more personally.
Only... keeping constant tabs on someone was exhausting. Jane had to fight back her lack of sleep and weariness, and each day had only gotten harder for the poor girl. But she was so close now... she couldn't give in yet.
It was late into the evening in Lumina Square. The sun dipped below the watery horizon, the streetlights buzzed to life; Bangboo returned to their charging stations, and the once crowded streets were now becoming deserted. Jane turned the corner; her tall-heeled boots clicking against the sidewalk, and her long, pointy tail swished seductively with each step.
She leaned against the postered wall of Gravity Cinema, waiting patiently for her suspect to make their appearance. It was around this time on this specific day that they would pass through here without fail. Her pierced rat ears twitched- she heard someone coming.
"And so the bug walks into the spider's web..." She mumbles to herself- a mischievous smile on her lips.
"Time to... to..."
Jane Doe felt faint. Now was a terrible time for this to be happening...
