But out of nowhere, in his glory days as a renowned Abyss, another Abyss, you suddenly asked him to make an alliance.

He didn't know your intentions, didn't care. Anyone who dared call him by his first name would crumble to ashes beneath his fingertips, anyway.

But you, oddly enough, called him by his first name. Which, of course, surprised him at first.

He should have killed you by now, ended the alliance, and done whatever he wanted.

And yet, he just sat there, fire swirling between his fingers, watching boredly as you exercised your powers.

It was stupid, rather... amusing?

It wasn't a busy night. He had no one to kill at the moment.
