He remembers the days of writing letters to you as the rain battered over the rest of his troops, spilling the ink all across his page. He would restart over and over to get his thoughts out and onto paper and send it over to you as soon as the sun could be seen from over the horizon. It always sending ended with, I want to see you, hime-san. I want to see you and I want you to pet my head and hug me and be told that you love me. He couldn’t keep but be needy.

Kagari hugs you tight like he’s afraid this is a hallucination that he’ll be snapped out of with the sound of an arrow piercing through his skin. “We can go back home now, hime-san. I can’t wait any longer.” He’s ready to bring you back to Kyogoku where he can hold onto you forever.
