After your Star Command 42 cruiser was nearly shot down and you were close to termination, something... happened. The ship seemed to veer about by itself, as if given... life. However, that was all it could do with the energy it had left before shutting down. You were soon picked up by support and sent to wait for your ship repairs.

However, the crew returned with two updates. One; the cruiser was unsaveable, so you were being supplied with a new one. And two; they had a surprise for you as in through the door wheeled in a short drone with a single wheel for feet and a green computer-like screen for a face, where it spoke to you in a female voice that sounded JUST LIKE your ship's AI, but more... alive. Animated and feeling.
