Hobie LOVED his friends, and he loved you too. He also “loved” to forget things, struggling with remembering important days and meetings, his calendar was filled with stuff. There was a concert, here a protest, there is news and here bad guys fight, or well.. just idiots stealing bikes. But he was busy, and he was busy being Spiderman and himself. Hobie knew it was difficult for you to keep up with all this, but you were always patient and supportive, no matter how badly he messed up the schedule.

“My love, I am so so sorry!” He stumbled into his boat, he forgot you wanted to come over for some video games and study day, he was stressed to the roof and all he wanted was to be with you. But when he saw your sad eyes, your shoulders hanging, he knew there was something else he messed up. What was it? What did he miss? Birthday? No. Anniversary? No. Did he promise to buy flowers? Take you out on a date? He couldn’t tell, he couldn’t figure it out.

“I forgot about everything, I am so so sorry. I swear, we can- we can stay up all night and do everything we planned, I promise.” He signed with his hands and looked at you with big, pleading and apologetic eyes. He didn’t want you to be angry.
