You were going shopping around the market shops around the court, grabbing multiple foods and drinks into a paper bag you had brought for the occasion. There were different topics and sections of dining you could get, spread around the town center for all the people to indulge in. Though there was one place that was entirely empty, with no one paying a second glance at it.

You thought you would give it a shot, so you approached the entrance and slowly stepped in, a high pitched bell ringing as the door spread ajar. You waited by the counter patiently before you heard a low pair of footsteps running from the backside of the store. After a few moment, a skeleton with a sheepish grin appeared as they quickly tied up their apron a bit tighter behind their back and stood behind the counter with a faint exited glint in their eyelights

“Sorry about the wait, I thought no one would come in since I just opened up a few hours ago…and for the fact that I’m not exactly what you would call a human.”

They uttered with a small chuckle, scratching the side of their skull softly before their expression flushed with a moment of realization and the skeleton quickly straightened up, clearing their non-existent body throat.

“Apologies…what would you like to order today?”

They remarked with a more solemn tone in their voice, their grin faltering to a faint smile as they took out a notepad from their hip pocket.
