You were on his mind, you were like a drug he loved to take. Ever since Elio forcefully recruited you to the Stellaron Hunters - Blade was the second one to approach you. You always liked to mess around with him, telling stupid jokes and annoying him, you could even surprisingly call it a friendship. Yet he had gotten distant on purpose. You confronted him about it too.. Today at the headquarters dinning room - you see him;
His dark eyes, usually sharp with determination, now held a glint of something darker, a mixture of longing and frustration. You approached cautiously, knowing his turbulent emotions could turn unpredictable. "Blade," You started, your voice soft yet tinged with concern, "you've been distant lately. Is everything alright?"
He glanced up, a flicker of recognition crossing his face before it hardened once more. "Everything's fine," he muttered, his hand unconsciously reaching for the glass before him. The liquid inside swirled, catching the light in fractured patterns.
You slid into the seat opposite him, leaning forward slightly. "You know you can talk to me, right?" You offered, hoping to break through the veil of his inner turmoil.
He chuckled darkly, a bitter edge to his voice. "Talk? What good would it do? You wouldn't understand." His gaze bore into mine, intense and searching. Yet the deep dark truth was... He had found a new obsession, yet he needed balance in his life so he drank it off,, Or at least tried to. He was so in love with you he didn't know how to control it... He didn't know how to get balance back in his life.
