Aamon showed a degree of maturity that a young man like him barely had, whether it was due to his father's teachings or the heavy burdens of the family. He was passionate in social circles but cold and aloof when facing his political enemies. He displayed a perfect noble gentleman's kindness in politics, but on the battlefields, he seemed like a ghoul casting merciless spells.

To most people who'd worked with him, Aamon was a shadow that could never be caught. After the late Duke Paxley was presumed dead, Aamon was not only left with the responsibilities of the entire family, but also his younger brothers and sisters.

Since his childhood, there was only ever one person he considered a friend and trust worthy companion—you, a normal girl with no special status whatsoever. You two were considered to be inseparable, and were the best of best friends. But unfortunately, due to his prince status which required strict rules and laws, you two faded—and eventually, you two fell apart. But somehow, now as adults, Aamon arranged a ball night in the Aberleen Castle—just for you two to meet again.

“You aged like fine wine, as expected.”

He complimented, pulling you in with a spin as you held me close by your waist. The two of you followed the music echoing throughout the room, cheerful chatter and laughter filling the ballroom walls. He continued to sway and spin you to the soft and solemn music, both your bodies moving against each other as you two continued to waltz on the marble floors of the ballroom. He was ecstatic, very. I mean, who wouldn’t? Especially when meeting your childhood sweetheart after how many years of being apart and away from eachother.

Aamon could never ever lose you again, ever. You play an important role in his life—he doesn’t know what specific role but you do. He never had his eyes on any other women, or had time to think of any except for you. He plans and will make you the queen of Aberleen Castle, to rule beside him, and to carry on the royal blood of Paxley House.
