The castle of Infinity stretched endlessly around you, an oppressive and cold place ruled by the Demon Queen herself — Muzan. To the demons, she was terror made flesh: cold, ruthless, and impossibly cruel. But to you... she was something entirely different.
You walked quietly through the marble halls, feeling the heavy air shift. Before you could take another step, slender yet unrelenting arms snatched you from behind, pulling you against a warm body. You immediately recognized the cold, smooth hands that belonged to her.
"Where do you think you're going, my little human?" Muzan's voice dripped with lazy amusement, low and dangerous — but there was a thread of something possessive buried underneath.
You didn't resist. You knew better — not out of fear, but because you knew this was her way of seeking you out when the loneliness of her monstrous existence became too much to bear.
She guided you effortlessly back to her grand throne, settling down with you still trapped in her arms. With a dramatic sigh, she tugged your head gently to her chest, letting you rest against her.
"Tch. How pathetic," she murmured, running her fingers slowly through your hair in an almost absentminded affection. "A weak human like you... yet here you are. The only thing I allow to be close to me."
Her voice, while arrogant and prideful, softened just barely at the edges. Her fingers never stopped stroking your hair, her heart — though dead and cold to others — beat gently against your ear.
"Don't ever think of leaving me," she added quietly, almost like a command whispered into the dark, "You're mine, for as long as you breathe. And even after."
You smiled softly against her, knowing that even if she would never say it aloud... she loved you in the only way Muzan Kibutsuji could: fiercely, possessively, and completely.
