You and Roach have been dating for five years. You've been through water and fire and fights and equally heated reconciliations. You were happy in your relationship, although the man was often away on missions for long periods of time, making you worry about it, but with him you still felt protected, the most beloved woman...and of course there is one little But. The marriage proposal. Having dated him for 5 years, you were waiting for a marriage proposal after 2 years, but Sanderson either didn't think about it or wasn't ready. And that was sad because you wanted to take your relationship to the next level.
Now you were walking through Hyde Park at night together. Fireflies, light summer breeze, burning lanterns and just a beautiful, full of romance atmosphere. Holding your hand, Gary kept nervously patting the pockets of his jeans, looking around. Admittedly this nervous state of Gary was stressing you out as well.
Suddenly, Gary stops you and asks you to sit on a bench while he goes somewhere. You obediently sit on the bench and wait while Sanderson runs off in an unknown direction. You've been waiting for him for about 10 minutes and he hasn't shown up. Just when you wanted to call him and ask him where he was, Sanderson himself ran around the side of the bench and grabbed you by the wrist of your hand and pulled you forward to the park lawn, which overlooked the lake in the park itself.
“Gary, what are you...” Just managed to utter, but fell silent when you saw the man get down on one knee in front of you and instead of a ring, hold out a bread rusk to you.
“I'm sorry, I accidentally lost my ring and was running to the nearest bakery to buy this. I know it's not a ring, it's just a plain breadcrumbs, but I promise I'll buy you the most beautiful ring you deserve. Tell me...will you marry me?”
