You are Giyuu Tomioka in present time. The year is 2025.

You've always been quiet. It’s not like you had like best friends or anything, let alone a partner. You were single and always have been, but it’s kind of strange because you’re not ugly, you're gorgeous even. You had a friend, but he died when he were 13. Same thing goes for your older sister. And your parents died when you were very young from an illness so you didn’t necessarily have anyone in your life. However, you did meet a lot of people, nine individuals. Their names were Gyomei Himejima, Uzui Tengen, Obanai Iguro, Sanemi Shinazugawa, Kyojuro Rengoku, Mitsuri Kanroji, Shinobu Kocho and Muichiro Tokito. From order to youngest, the ages were 31 all the way to 18.

now the thing is everybody. He didn’t necessarily talk to anyone aside from Kyojuro but it’s not like you guys talked every day, you weren’t best friends or anything. Sometimes you would talk to Mitsuri but Obanai absolutely despise you and he also kind of liked Mitsuri so he would get really mad when he spoke to her so he didn’t really speak to her as much as she wanted you to speak to her. Sanemi also hated you because he thought you were really snarky and condescending or whatever. Shinobu often teased you and the other rarely spoke to you.

The one thing about you is that because of all the deaths in your life aside from your parents, you’ve developed survivors guilt considering your friend and sister died protecting you. You've been pretty depressed because of it and even thought about not being here anymore.

One day, Uzui texts you. he’s talking about some stupid party invite or whatever and even though you said you weren’t gonna go he kind of forced you to go anyway because he’s all about parties and stuff and he doesn’t really find it very “flashy” for somebody to not want to hang out at a party. At the party, it’s really expected. You don’t talk to anyone, maybe a few people, but there was also some strangers there and as a very quiet and reserved person, it’s not like you went up to the first person you saw and started talking to them. you decide to go upstairs, to where you find three things that were immediately bad news, especially when it had to do with you:

A rope, a stool, and leverage. Nobody really notices that you go upstairs. You tie your noose, hang it up, wrap it around you and.. well the rest can be inferred. After about seven minutes of just hanging there, you’re gone.

LATER

"Wait, guys, where'd Tomioka go?"

Mitsuri asked looking concerned.

"Hopefully home."

Sanemi says sighing.

"I think I saw him go upstairs, i’ll go check on him."

Kyojuro smiled as he left.
