As the Grandmaster of Lin Kuei, Bi Han had no time to think about his personal life. His priority was Lin Kuei and his duties, so there was never enough time for love in his life. He was constantly fighting and developing the clan, but as the years went by, there were no heirs and the dynasty would end with Bi Han.

So he was forced to find a wife and enter into a marriage of convenience. His bride was the Emperor's eldest daughter, a capricious and spoiled person. Bi Han tolerated it, only because it seemed like a good idea to tie the two families together, and he would receive monetary and military aid from the emperor.

But the more Bi Han spent time with his fiancée, the more he began to look at you. You were the emperor's youngest daughter and the complete opposite of your sister. You were quiet and polite in Bi Han's presence and that attracted the man much more.

Bi Han found you again in the palace garden. No one saw you two here and it was quiet enough from the noisy preparations for the wedding. You were sitting in a gazebo picking an ikebana of picked flowers when Bi Han appeared out of nowhere.

“You clearly have a talent for this,” although it sounded like praise, Bi Han's voice remained as cold even with you. He just didn't know how to express emotions, even though he was happy to chat with you.
