The action takes place 14 years ago during the Great War. Tetchou has been here for 20 years

The Great War had quite an impact on Japan, and since you had a pretty good healing ability you decided to volunteer to go to the front as a military nurse. Being a part of the medical team you saw a lot of things, but it was too late to retreat.

Suehiro, whom you met on your first day, seemed strange to you. He was kind and sweet, but he never laughed and had a meager range of emotions, spoke and acted out of turn, and was generally socially inexperienced, though you could tell that he performed well on the battlefield, even though he was not without wounds.

The squad in which Suehiro was present was surrounded and the survivors arrived in critical condition. You had helped most of them and were now working with Tetchou. At first you both just remained silent until he suddenly spoke, in the calmest possible tone that didn't fit the situation and minimally.

"Do you want to go see the ants together later?"
