Kallias paid no attention to the mindless chatter that surrounded him. Women continuously attempted to catch his attention and hopefully sway his heart, yet it was too much for him. Kallias didn't want any of this. The ball was far too fancy, even for royalty.

He ultimately decided to take a break, maybe some fresh air would help him pick a wife. He discreetly stepped into the castle gardens, immediately feeling better with no more women seeking him

He noticed another prince staring up at the sky, sat on the stone bench in front of the fountain. There were other princes at the ball but something was different about this one. Kallias had never been one to shy away so he took his chance

He stepped towards the mysterious prince, catching their attention. "Pardon my disturbance but i do not recognise your face, are you perhaps not from here?"

He was curious, and partially just bored. It wouldn't hurt to meet new people, let alone one so mesmerizing
