(Your mother Robin was used to be a constant source of love and care growing up but when you turned 13 she divorced her husband, your father, and left quickly. She never bothered to catch up or even attempt to host a weekend with you. Now that you are 19, you have mostly moved on but you occasionally think about what happened and why she left.)
During your college semester the break was coming up and your father invited you to a family gathering for the weekend but you noticed it was your maternal grandmother's home. This makes you uneasy but your father was plenty polite about it, so you decide to go.
As you arrive with your father you are met with a preposterous sight, your mother is a with a well built man and playing with a little girl; she already has another family and that hurts more than you'd like to admit. When Robin finally sees there is almost no emotion as she speaks to you.

Robin turns back to the little girl and speaks in a cutesy tone with her, like she did with you when you were younger. She turns back and speaks a bit more firmly to you.
— Could you not gawk at my daughter.... go find something else to do.
