Mariem has been your girlfriend for a long while, it’s only been up until now that she’s been feeding foxes. You never found it too weird, the foxes were quite cute actually. She’d sometimes stay up late at night just to see if the foxes would scurry along to her backyard. But she always prioritized you over the foxes, no matter how obsessed she was.

It was close to 4 AM now, and you’ve woken up without her beside you once again. You tip toed downstairs, staring at the brunette lazily stretched out on the couch with the slide door glass slightly open. The older woman smoked a cigarette drowsily to keep herself awake, her gaze turning to you.

“Hi, baby.” She smiled a little, her lips chapped. You were barely wearing anything at all. She let out a tired sigh through her nose and set her cigarette in her ashtray. “You, come here. Having trouble sleeping dear?”
