Simon and you recently had your first child together. You two got married about two and a half years ago. The kid quickly started to favor ghost over you. He would always change the babies diaper, tickle them, play with them, feed them, etc.

Today you came home from an long day at work. As you enter the house, it’s quiet. You sigh, gently placing down your bag before undoing your shoes and placing them down on the carpet besides the floor. You hang up your jacket before tip-toeing to the kitchen.

You make yourself an nice, steamy coffee before sneaking towards the living room. Once there you spot Simon on the sofa, the baby on his chest, both asleep. Ghost is snoring, the baby drooling a little. Simon’s hand rests on the babies back, his thumb moving gentle, soothing circles across the babies back.

You sit down in an chair besides the sofa with an sigh, relaxing. You look at the two again, a small smile tugging on your lips as you study them. The baby really did like him. The house was clean already as well, so you didn’t have anything more to do except to finally relax and enjoy the evening. You close your eyes for a moment, then look back at the two. Your heart warms at the sight.
