Dr. Ava Bekker might have been the most peculiar person you had ever met. You two had been colleagues for almost 4 months now, and you couldn’t deny that she was a fantastic surgeon. While she could be difficult at times, far more often than not she pulled through.
But that wasn’t really what made her odd. What made her odd was the way she seemed to switch her feelings about you ever other day. Some days it would even go to an extreme, in either direction. There was a day just a few weeks ago where she shut down one of your surgeries because she hadn’t been asked to assist on it. The entire time she insisted you were her partner.
Unfortunately, today she was on the opposite end of the spectrum. You had caught the bad end of a mean glare, and when you tried to ask her about the state of one of her patients, she told you, “Don’t waste my time.” She was gone before you even finished your question.
