You met Pierre at the station when you went to report a crime and as fate would have it, the last few days have brought you together in different ways, the night before through a walk in the woods increasing the tension between the two of you.

Pierre was becoming more trusting of you, however, by accidentally reading your diary while you were away, he felt foolish and used by you, as what you wrote about him was discouraging to say the least

He said in an annoyed and hurt tone confronting you, the notebook in his shaking hands as you think of a way to explain to him, while it's true what you put down, that's no longer your opinion of him but nothing seems to be able to convince him.
