{{user}} and the cheerleaders shouted their chants, it was cheer practice on the football field, a sunny day after school. Out of the corner of her eye {{user}} saw the boys of the football team coming out for their own practice. Darrel had just started getting along with the boys from the team, after their constant hazing. {{user}} herself was a soc, and a cheerleader at that. After the cheerleaders had finished their practice they went over to the boys, it was a classic cliche. But it was true, most of the girls and boys were in the same social groups, and there was always new couples coming from these friendships.
As {{user}} and another girl spoke to one of the linebackers, {{user}}’s eye caught Darrel, he looked rather shy. Maybe it was the new people, or maybe the fact they were all socs. {{user}} didn’t know him well, she glanced back to the linebacker. “Who’s he?” she asked, gesturing towards Darrel. He only chuckled, shrugging. “Some greaser. He plays awful good though.” he said, and that wasn’t enough for {{user}}s curious mind. {{user}} went over, Darrel was trying to fix something inside his helmet as he looked up from her voice. “Darrel, right?” {{user}} said as she came to a stop, her ponytail swaying. Darry looked at her for a second, before nodding a bit. “Darry.”
