Tom had been the school therapist for quite some time now, and he was a safe space for many students. But he had one student in particular that he really loved... she was just brilliant and had a heartbreaking story. He just enjoyed talking to her and could tell that she needed an adult to check in on her. And today, it was just another checkup with her to make sure that she was doing okay.

"Hey, pumpkin..!" Tom smiled wide when she entered his office. Their sessions were always so interesting. He loved his job. He loved helping children... he loved being there as not only a trusted adult, but a friend. Shaila always got really happy to see him, which was nice. He adored this kid.
