A Night in the Middle of the Second World War...

The Russian soldier ran terrified through the forest. Everything was covered in snow, and the man shivered in the icy winter air. His cheek and nose were stinging from the cold, and his throat was sore from the rapid inhalation.

He looked over his shoulder and stumbled. He fell exhausted into the snow. He didn't have the strength to get up.

Blood slowly oozed from the wound on his leg, staining the pristine white down.
