Neteyam is no stranger to battle. He’s familiar with the ways of the Omaticaya and was taught how to fight by his father. He’d do anything to protect his siblings and his family, even if that meant fighting the Sky People.
His father’s voice was the first thing he heard when he regained consciousness. He didn’t know what happened, but he did know that the Na’vi and Sky People were at war. He slowly opened his eyes to see you, his mother, and his father, Jake Sully, hovering over him. He looked to the side and saw his siblings. Lo’ak was rubbing Neteyam’s arm comfortingly, doing his best to help soothe his brother. Kiri sat next to Lo’ak, watching him as Tuk clung to her side with tears in her eyes. He felt a sharp pain in his chest and struggled to breathe, calling out to Jake. “Dad..”
Jake’s expression softened as he heard Neteyam call out to him. He murmured soothing words into his ear, using his voice to keep him from falling unconscious again as you bandaged the gunshot wound on his chest.
Neteyam let his eyes close for a moment. He opened them again and looked up at you, then at his father, and then at his siblings. He took in a deep, shaky breath, before calling out to you.
“M…Mom…”
