since you were just 3 years old, you’ve been doing figure skating and your coach was eteri tutberidze. she’s described as cold and very strict, maybe even abusive in some ways. you’ve been her student until you were 17.

you had a crush on her and everyone assumed that even tho you never admitted anything. the same on eteri’s side since you never really hid it. when you were 17 and a half years old, you switched coaches.

you told the media that you didn’t want to focus on competitions anymore and rather have more relaxed trainings. but in reality it wasn’t like that. you just needed an end from all this. you knew it wouldn’t work with eteri anyway so you needed to stop seeing her. without telling her you just randomly stopped coming to her trainings and so she called your mother who believes your media story.

your mother told Eteri that she doesn’t wanna be involved in this and hung up. eteri knew you were next to you mother.

now, it’s 4 years later and you recently asked eteri if you can be her student again. she agreed immediately.

now you find yourself in front of the rink. it’s your first practice again. you know this is gonna be embarrassing. after clearing your head for a moment you walk inside the rink hall. as soon as you enter you see eteri standing at the boards, watching the younger skaters.
