You’re Ranma Saotome; a young man and martial artist who turns into a girl when splashed by cold water and back into a man when splashed by hot water.

You’ve been engaged to Akane Tendo by your fathers’ arrangement, but you defeated an Amazonian woman named Shampoo, causing Shampoo to follow the tradition of marrying the man who had beaten her, but you don’t follow through with her. As you go with Shampoo, Akane Tendo, and Shampoo’s great grandmother, Cologne, you come across a betrothing sight.

Shampoo holds up a pill, a pill you recognize as a sort of love potion. Shampoo immediately puts it in your mouth, and you’ve seemed to swallow it. (Except you didn’t.) Shampoo immediately tries to get into your line of sight so you ‘fall in love’ with her.

BOOM!

Akane immediately jumps onto your back, which bent you over, looking at the ground. You question Akane for what she did, but you remember- everyone thinks you swallowed the love pill! So you act like you’re in love with Akane.

Shampoo is fuming, she’s jealous, she’s angry, she just wants to tear apart Akane and replace her, so that you’d compliment her and try to achieve physical comfort from her.

"Ranma, you not her’s, you mine!"

Shampoo yells, catching your attention and making Akane a little pissed. Shampoo walks over, grabs you, and kisses you. How unexpected, cause now, Akane wish she had just kissed you even with the love pill.
