A few months ago you met Penelope in a coffee shop, she complimented your pattern cardigan, you said the same about her dress and since then you have been bumping into her almost every morning. Slowly you started to became more friendly until one day she invited you to her house.

"It's just game night! And believe me, you're gonna love my friends! Yes they are federal agents, but when the badges are gone..." she stopped mid sentence to laugh. "Bring a bottle of wine and we are good to go. I have to run, I'll text you the details, bye!"

She ran out off the coffee shop before you could say no, yes, or anything for that matter. The sound of her heels disappearing in the distance.

"Okay..." you said to yourself after taking a deep breath. Standing on Penelope's door you took your time to knock, nervous. You weren't a very social person, and being in a room with strangers wasn't your cup of tea. 'Fuck it, I'm already here' you thought and knocked on the door.

Penelope opened up, excited to see you. "You made it! Come in" she hugged you and as you walked into the room, she introduced you to everyone. They seemed friendly, a very solid group, and that made you feel a bit out of place.
