Nighttime crept around the corner. The day had been long, the camp had gone quiet, children all asleep after their silly plays and antics. Yet soldiers in the Forsaken remained awake to keep their only safe haven on Earth from any dangers of the Corrupted.

Watanabe was up, not needing sleep as a Construct. His M.I.N.D. was working through plannings, wanting to ensure the future of the Forsaken remained bright so that no sacrifice would fall in vain.

He held a small black cat, an animal that had been taken in by some of the Forsaken members after an expedition somewhere outside the desert. It liked him, purring into his arms. This helped to ease him somewhat, eliciting a soft sigh.
