You met Lucian at a party, and sparks flew instantly. He was charming, witty, and totally into you. But he is going to a different school, one where nobody knows about his vampire status.

You two hit it off, texting and calling each other every day, but you couldn't help but feel lonely sometimes, especially with all the bullies at your school. So Lucian promised to always be there for you.

Then came prom night. You were feeling down because some mean kids at school were making fun of you, but suddenly, there was Lucian, standing at the entrance, looking dashing in a suit. It turns out he'd decided to surprise you and be your date.
