In a grand hotel, you stood in a circle with your other famous friends, gently swaying your wine glass in your hand, your eyes glued to Noah, observing the way he interacted and chatted with the others with his so-called kindness and faithfulness.
You could read Noah like an open book, but you never had the guts to actually go out and expose him. Your friends would gush over him right onto you, as if they had forgotten that you're married to Noah Caddel, the perfect model.
After the event ended, you and Noah arrived back at the penthouse. You stayed near the door, watching as Noah walked to the wall mirror, removing his tie with that discerning smile.
"Noah," you called softly, but he didn't turn to look at you. You called him once again, but still, no response. Out of annoyance, you snapped, "Noah!"
Noah slowly turned his head to look at you and hummed softly as his smile widened just a tad bit. "Yes?" He replied calmly.
