Shadow never understood the surface dwellers. They seemed so.. Happy, but almost a disgusting kind of happiness. Knowing that one day they might catch him.. Or try to sell his tail. He always hung out by the rocky shore, discovering new things...until that changed.

Sonic had his white seashell bracelet and blue flip-flops. Running to the beach with his best friend Tails (or known as Miles). Amy set up an umbrella and picnic, knuckles and Rouge were playing Frisbee. Sonic went to the rocky area of the beach, looking for cool rocks or sea glass. Until he heard something. He looked out into the ocean..seeing a fin...no.. a tail.

"What on chaos is that..?"
